First of all, we have fewer students in class, not more than 20. Compared to that of ten years ago, language countries have fewer students in one class and there, each student get more chandes to speak out their ideas. At the same time, students have more opporunities to listen the each other. That is, they converse more frequently and more confidently.

Secondly, students are divided into different groups according to their proficiency level. Therefore , the students in a class have a similar level of foreign language. That's because teacher can make teaching materials which are appropriate to the students and also it helps group activities go smoothly. In addition, it also helps assessment easier because students of a similar level studies with the same teaching materials.

You are going to be very surprised to see the sugjects we learn. 10 years ago, there were English and English converstion but now we have various subjects related to English. We can choose the subjects, too. My favorite is 'Reading English novel'. We need the novel and disscuss it. Wd also write a note after we finish the book.

We have immersion programs in all kind of sugjects. Some school used to have them in the past, but nowdays it spread out anywhere, so most of the school have that program. In addition to in English class, in mate, in science even in PE class, teacher teches all in English.
Their english are so great. They join so many English speaking programs. They are experties in English not to say their own majors.

We usually learn practical grammar rules we actually use in everyday communication. Im the past, I heard much of the class time were spent on very complicated grammar ruels you can only see in those extremly difficult and boring books. You can still learn them in and advanced garmmar class if you want. But, in most mormal English classses we only deal with very practical grammal items , which are necessry to communicate clearly.

Teachers are very qualified , of course, se have native English speaking teachers, but korean teachers are equally qualified as an English teacher. Most of the, studied abriad, and during teaching career, they participate in a lot of workshop and training. Programs and especially during vacation short-term in tensive trainig abroad. Because the qulity of teachers are very high, that of English class are high as well.
