Helpful link for teaching methodology
Hi students,
As I understand it, most of the students in this class are also enrolled in the Methodology class offered through the graduate school. I also understand that you are probably using the textbook by H. Douglas Brown as your key text.
I was inspired by Brown's approach to explaining teaching methodology many years ago as I got into TEFL more seriously. Later I made a whole section on my resource website covering ELT methodological principles and approaches. I'm placing the link for you here in case you find it helpful for your other English Education coursework:
http://www.englishraven.com/methodology.html
Although I compiled this several years ago and it is in serious need of an update, dozens of M.A. course programs around the world now reference it as recommended reading and link directly to it.
Hope it helps, or at least inspires you!
Best wishes,
~ Jason

helpful website
yes. We are taking the course you mentioned and use a PLLT by Brown as a text.
Professor Bae, who is in charge of the lecture, said that we'd better read many things to make a successful thesis and prepare for it from now on.
After reading one, my curiosity can be branched to another one. I try to find another one to read. After all, my knowledge can improve so much.
Thank you for giving us such a good resource.

Thnak you!!
I leaned there kind of methodology just from the book, which was really theoritical and abstract. However, as I went through the site, I found something really practical.
Whenever I read about English Teaching Metodology books, I wondered how it could be really implemented in the realy calssroom.
this information would help me a lot.

Actually I've already added that webpage to my favorites! I also looked at worksheet parts so manytimes too. I'm working at English kindergarten and I really need worksheets I realized haha. you know what? little kids are sooo much more difficult to teach English than middle or high school kids. OMG... They are soo active and unpredictable. haha and they are like really sponge. they learn really quickly!! i was amazed haha anyways thanks million!

Re: Helpful link for teaching methodology
Sometimes I wonder that how many times Mr. Jason visit here in a day.
Even me, I seldom visit my mimi-hompy on Cyworld. You are so assidous person.
Whenever new year's coming, I promise myself to be more diligent. But it is hard to keep because of several excutions, shamefully.
I will try to study harder. You encourage me in my efforts.
Thanks for good imformation!
