The Korean government has suggested that Korean secondary school English teachers should be able to conduct their classes entirely in English by 2012.

Do you support this proposal? Why or why not? Support your opinion with clear reasons, details and examples.

New governments presents their English immersion education that Korean teachers should teach every subjects in English. Lots of teachers, parents and students opposed against their opinions because almost teacher didn't know using English except for English teachers. It was a unexpected policy to teachers, parents, students. Students was insufficient to every class in English, parents worried to improve their English. Thereupon, new government revised their plan to only teaching English in English. Those who were opposed against their plans are quiet to amendment policy. Because TEE has lots of benefits to everyone. I support their amendment policy.

First of all, TEE is most beneficial to students' speaking proficiency. Until now, Korean secondary school English teachers teach only receptive skill ( reading, listening) that is not directly beneficial to real life. We often met those who don't speak English to foreigner even one word. The reason why we learn English is to use English. Teacher should improve students' speaking proficiency. In this way, teacher should be teach English in English. To conduct speaking class, It's essential to teach English in English. To speak English, it's important to make comfortable situation to students. In TEE, students sit lightly on speaking English if teacher also speak English. However Korean teachers are worrying about their mistakes in front of students. It's also beneficial to students in TEE. Students could see that teachers could make mistakes because teachers aren't native speakers like students. And then students don't worry about making mistakes. It's natural to non-native speakers.

Secondly, teachers should be able to their language ability. Korean teachers has been leading an indolent life. They didn't want to prepare innovative lesson, effective teaching method and interesting activity. TEE is awakening to teachers' indolence life. To do TEE class, they should prepare flawless plan and they could deal with abrupt situation, such as students ask how to use English in specific situation. To prepare abrupt situation, teachers must improve their English proficiency.

In conclusion, there are some benefits for conducted in TEE. In the English-speaking world, It's natural that English teachers in English. Thereupon, they could use English almost perfectly. English is not subject but language. We should think about basic rule how to learn language effectively. I think that's why most people want Teaching English in English.

Last of all, it motivates students to study English hard. To understand class in conducted TEE, students also should have proper English levels. TEE should be based on proper English level and learning ability. Of course, it’s hard that students participate in TEE class now. They need to reach proper level that it could conduct in TEE. Naturally they could be exposed English more hours than now. For example, if teacher set students homework in English, they must understand what is homework and they should settle the homework in English. It makes their proficiency get better.
